Kieth's
On April 27, 2014, a local family gas and service station located in Vilonia was destroyed. Kieth’s had been serving the Vilonia community since 1977 providing fuel, automotive parts, automotive service and repair, and 24 hour towing and recovery services.
Although their business was destroyed, the business owners, Keith and Priscilla McCord, were able to partially clean up and provide most automotive services to their customers. Although their business was a complete loss, the owners consider Vilonia home and want to continue to provide the same services to the community that they had been providing for the past 38 years. It was imperative to do what was possible to continue to bring in income to provide for their family and continue to help those that needed their services.
Although construction on their building is not yet completed, the workers at Kieth’s provide a large amount of services in an outdoor work area and the office is operating out of a shipping container that was donated after the storm. The new building will have a larger parts store and a safe room has been constructed in the office to help provide security in case another natural disaster occurs. They do plan on having a grand opening, however that time and date is undetermined.
In the near future, Kieth’s plans on having their grand opening and will be able to provide all services they have done in the past prior to the storm on April 27, 2014.
